Health and Safety


1. Definition Health and Safety
• Safety (Safety): The protection of workers from injury due to an accident
• Health (Health): Workers are free from physical and mental illness
• Keselamattan and Health: a system of programs designed for workers and employers who aim for prevention (preventive) incidence of occupational injuries and illnesses in the workplace employment relations

2. Background Safety and health:
• In an effort to maintain or fulfill human rights (human rights)
• Establish that each source of production can be used safely and efficiently
• To ensure that the production process runs smoothly

3. General purpose K-3
• To protect workers and to others in the workplace oorang
• Ensure that all production sources can be used safely and efficiently
• To ensure that the production process runs smoothly

4. Special-purpose K-3
• Reduce and prevent accidents
• Provide an opportunity or a way to escape in case of fire or other events that are harmful
• Provide assistance in accident
• Preventing and controlling occupational statement, whether physical, psikhis, poisoning, infection and transmission
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and order
• Obtain the harmony between labor tools, environment, and how the process works
• Adjust and improve safety on a dangerous accident to grow higher.


Measures that support system K-3
• Analyse the work environment
• Identify perils, hazard and loss
• Conduct training programs, instruction, information and supervision of occupational accidents
• Establish procedures when handling accidents, including investigations
• Make work equipment maintenance procedures
• Make provisions worker injured at work
• Ensuring protection for other workers as a preventive measure
• Provision of sanctions in case of violation

K-3 system requirements of an ideal
There is a combination of the standard liability rules, sanctions and rewards the implementation of K-2 by the company for employees and customers, or in other words a policy of quality K-3 were used as a reference / guide for employees and employers

Supervision of the implementation of K-3

Obligations of employers
